ITINERARY

DAY 1: Arrival in Saigon - Ho Chi Minh (Welcome Dinner)

Upon arrival, meet the guide and the driver. Transfer to the center, orientation tour by bus before checking in the hotel (2.00 pm).

DAY 2: Ho Chi Minh – Cu Chi – Ho Chi Minh City (B/L)

Breakfast at hotel,
Transfer to visit Cu Chi tunnels, Cu Chi was an important base during the American war, due to its strategic location. The Vietcong built a 200 km long network of tunnels that connect the controls, hospitals, shelters and arms factories. Using simple tools to dig the hard walls by hand without using cement, this incredible network has never been discovered.
Lunch at local restaurant. Return to Saigon.
Afternoon: proceed to visit the "colonial" part of Saigon: The Cathedral of Notre Dame, the Central Post Office designed by Gustave Eiffel, the same architect who built the Eiffel Tower in Paris and a view of the American embassy.
Overnight at the hotel in Saigon (Ho Chi Minh).

The city of Ho Chi Minh, or Saigon, as many locals still call it with this ancient name, is the most important financial-economic center of Vietnam. They say that if you look for something and don't find it here, you won't find it anywhere else in Vietnam! You will be infected by its brightness, amazed by the industriousness of the people, and, why not, impressed by the movements of its more than three million scooters!

DAY 3: Ho Chi Minh – Delta Mekong Cai Be -Ben Tre (B/L)

Day entirely dedicated to the visit of the great delta of the Mekong river and its tributaries.
From the center of Saigon, it will take about two hours to penetrate the heart of the Mekong Delta, along the way you can already admire the view and life of the peasants, capane, houses and tombs scattered in the emerald green of palm trees and rice fields, the vegetable gardeners who take care of orchard plants, etc. Arriving at the Great River, (Cai Be or Ben Tre) embarks to make an excursion on the river, you will perceive the rhythm of the typical life of the people who live on the Rive and on the River itself. The exploration tour by boat includes a coconut processing farm, from which candies are made, coconut oil extraction. Crossing the villages by tricycle to the local restaurant. Time for lunch with the typical delta menu, based on fish, shrimp and vegetables. After lunch, a small walk towards the pier of the small boats, we proceed by rowing boat to enter the narrowest branches of the great river and we take the big boat back to the bus pier.
Departure for return to Ho Chi Minh.

DAY 4: Ho Chi Minh - Hue (B/L))

After breakfast, departure for a visit to the Cho Lon area: Thien Hau temple (Celestial lady) and Binh Tay, the most stocked market in all of Vietnam.
Lunch. Transfer to the airport for the flight to Hue - the capital of Vietnam under the Nguyen dynasty, the last feudal family that reigned in Vietnam from 1802 until 1945.
Overnight in Hue.

DAY 5: Hue - Hoi An

After breakfast at the hotel.
It starts with a visit to the Imperial City with an excursion on the romantic Huong River (river of Perfumes) which in the past was the source of inspiration for many poets. We continue with the visit of Thien Mu, the symbol pagoda of Central Vietnam and a sacred place for all Vietnamese Buddhists. Lunch at local restaurant
Afternoon: Visit the Mausoleum of Khai Dinh.
After the visit, transfer to Hoi An. Check in the hotel
You start visiting Hoi An city. Currently Hoi An is the only town in Vietnam that still preserves its authentic aspects of past centuries and since 1998 it has been declared by UNESCO, a cultural heritage of humanity

DAY 6: Hoi An – My Son – Danang – Hoi An (B/L)

Start by visiting My Son ruins, Champa civilization (35 km from Hoi An)
Lunch.
Afternoon: transfer to Da Nang, visit Marble Moutain
After the visit, Return to Hoi An. Free in Hoi An.

DAY 7: Hoi An - Golden Bridge - Hanoi (B/L)

After breakfast at the hotel. Departure to Bana Hills by private bus.
Bana Hills, located at 1,452m or 4,763 feet above sea level. Taking the second longest cable car system in the world up the hill to discover its famous Golden Bridge on the World’s Press.
Lunch at local restaurant.
Cable car down, transfer to Da Nang airport for the flight to Hanoi with Vietnam Airlines.

DAY 8: Ha Noi - Ha Long Bay(B/L/D)

After breakfast, departure for Ha Long bay by minibus.The route involves crossing part of the delta of the Red River.
During the journey you can admire the life of the farmers of the delta of the great Red River, typical small markets of rural villages etc ...

DAY 9: Ha Long Bay – Hanoi city (B/Brunch)

Early in the morning, for those who want, Tai Qi exercises at dawn on the terrace of the Giunca.
After breakfast on board, we continue the excursion on the bay, "early" lunch and return to the pier. Return to Ha Noi.
